Speakers: Aaron Jones, Operations Manager, Harambee Youth Training,
This ministry lunch will focus on discipleship through shared work and faithful presence, exploring how vocational labor, mentorship, and consistency function as powerful tools for spiritual formation. We will discuss leading youth in an urban context, cultivating servant leadership, and integrating faith, work, and mission in everyday ministry settings.
About Harambee: Harambee Youth Training is a Christian job training and discipleship ministry serving youth ages 12–18 in North St. Louis City. Through a structured tuckpointing job training program, we combine hard work, mentorship, and gospel-centered relationships to develop character, responsibility, and leadership in young people. Our crews provide free tuckpointing services to low-income homeowners, many of whom are widows, while investing daily in the lives of youth. We believe faithful presence, consistency, and shared work are powerful means of discipleship and transformation.
