Christ-Centered Counsel
Spiritual And Virtue Formation for Transformative Practice
The 2026 Austin Harrington Counseling Lectures
April 17–18, 2026
ABOUT THE LECTURES
The Austin Harrington Counseling Lectures were established to train and encourage men and women in the field of counseling within a biblical framework.
The 2026 lectures will explore what it means to be a Christian who counsels, examining how faith and virtue shape both personal formation and professional practice. Participants will engage with key Christian virtues that undergird life and counseling work, learning how these virtues influence clinical decisions and outcomes. Practical tools and approaches for ongoing counselor formation will be presented and personalized, with a strong emphasis on the supportive role of community in sustaining growth and effectiveness.
