Brian Skamra

Senior Director of Campus Operations

Brian Skamra graduated in 1995 from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and has taken advanced classes at Calvary Chapel Bible College (Biblical Studies), Liberty University (Chaplain), and Israel Institute for Biblical Studies (Hebrew). Brian served in the Florida National Guard, US Army, and Army Reserves from 1984–1993. His security background started in managing and developing enhanced training methods for airport passengers and baggage screeners at international airports in the USA.

Brian started serving in maintenance in 1992 as a supervisor, engineer, manager over the next 16 years at companies like Unilever, Akzo-Nobel, Frito-Lay, and Saputo, introducing to the industry reliability centered maintenance. Brian took the position of Director of Facilities at Ripon College in 2008 and came to Covenant Theological Seminary in 2020. He has served the community as a volunteer firefighter and member of the Police Commission. Brian has served in Christian ministries as a K-12 teacher, usher, greeter, security, small group leader, missions committee member, and counselor at evangelistic events. Brian is married to Leigh, who manages the Covenant Café, and they have five children. Together, they served as foster parents and support and enjoy serving and supporting number of Christian nonprofit ministries.
