Mary Miller

Counseling Administrator

Mary Miller (MAC ’21) joined the staff of Covenant Seminary in 2021 and works as the Counseling Administrator. She also serves as the Counseling Center’s Intake Coordinator and assists prospective clients in their process of being matched with a counselor.

Mary is a graduate of Covenant Seminary’s Master of Arts in Counseling program and works as a pre-licensed professional counselor in St. Louis. Prior to working for Covenant, Mary earned her Bachelors in Pre-Counseling from Moody Bible Institute and worked extensively in the non-profit sector both in Chicago and St. Louis. Her experience includes providing trauma-informed crisis intervention, youth mentoring, and parent coaching to individuals impacted by violence, addiction, and homelessness.

Her interests within the counseling field currently lie at the intersection of interpersonal neurobiology, identity development, and the dynamic relationship between resilience and trauma. She enjoys working with clients facing challenges of complex trauma and abuse, grief and loss, and those in ministry settings. She is also keenly interested in the application of systems theory in large-scale contexts to understand the flourishing and challenges of our communities.

Mary is married to Logan, a local worship pastor in St. Louis, and enjoys floral design, trying new restaurants, exploring new cities, and spending time outdoors. Together they are actively invested in the arts and its role in empowering the welfare of our cities and churches.
