Campaign Manager, Equipping ministry Leaders Campaign
Covenant Theological Seminary seeks a part-time (20–29 hours per week with a possibility of occasional 30+ hours) Campaign Manager for its Equipping Ministry Leaders Capital Campaign. The Campaign Manager will manage strategy, communication, scheduling, and reporting efforts for the duration of the Campaign, which is projected to last approximately three years. The position reports to the Associate Director of Donor Relations within the Seminary’s Advancement department.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: Minimum of two years’ related experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
The Campaign Manager will:
I. Manage the campaign
A. Staff
Directs key staff and volunteers on campaign assignments, schedule, functions .
B. Volunteers
Solicitors: Work with committee members and non-committee members, who are related to key prospects; assist them in setting agendas and making appointments with assigned prospects
Leaders: Assist the Committee Chairs in preparing for and conducting meetings related to the campaign.
Prepare for and support all the activities related to the committees, making sure meetings are well planned and include adventure and celebration.
C. Operate systems for managing the prospect and planning data
D. Oversee design and preparation of materials, events and recognition programs
Place high value upon and effectively execute the thanking process as commitments are made and pledges are received
E. Prepare campaign reports and evaluations
Prepare monthly production reports on activities, potential gifts, gifts solicited but not committed, and total amount committed toward goal
Prepare reports projecting strategies for various gift levels and timeframes.
Prepare monthly updates of the campaign timetable.
F. Work directly with campaign counsel getting guidance and recommendations on A-E (above) and all aspects of the campaign
II. Direct campaign marketing and the cultivation and solicitation of prospects at all levels.
A. Train staff and volunteers
B. Plan, create and oversee communication strategy
Monthly insiders’ newsletter and the periodic campaign newsletter
Email and use of other communication tools, e.g., Facebook, Twitter,
C. Oversee preparation of draft proposals for foundations and corporations
D. Support gift officers in their process to cultivate and solicit campaign gifts

Admissions Administrator
The Department of Admissions at Covenant Seminary is seeking applications for the position of Admissions Administrator. This is a Part-time position (25 hours/week) with vacation, paid time off, and seminary holidays. Department Goals and Responsibilities
The Admissions Administrator supports the work of the Admissions team in achieving its enrollment goals and serving its prospective students through proper execution of data entry and database management, effective communication with other relevant seminary departments, timely correspondence with prospective students through a variety of media, maintaining an orderly and hospitable office environment, and through a number of administrative duties.
Position Responsibilities:
Data entry and document processing within Covenant Seminary’s CRM (Slate) and student information system (CAMS) from inquiry through matriculation.
Communicating with potential admissions applicants and other constituents through incoming phone calls, the admissions email inbox, and Slate messaging.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure quality processing of applications.
Assisting the Communications team by processing online store orders and shipments.
Ordering and stocking of office supplies, books and marketing materials, and event supplies.
Welcoming and greeting visitors to the admissions office.
Maintaining a clean and orderly admissions office.
Receiving mail deliveries for the seminary and communicating with intended recipients to coordinate retrieval.
Serving the broader admissions team members in recording meeting minutes, mailing promotional materials, scheduling meetings, reserving meeting rooms and resources, planning and supporting team events and campus visits, maintaining expense reporting for ADM management, organizing travel and accommodation, and other administrative tasks assigned.
Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

Has familiarity with Slate CRM, CAMS, Campus Café or other customer relations management and student information system platforms.
Other Functions:
Hospitality/Event support for occasional large group campus visits, Preview Days, or new student orientations.
Possible event support for welcome reception at beginning of fall/spring semesters.

admissions Counselor

Department Goals and Responsibilities
The Admissions Counselor represents Covenant Theological Seminary to prospective students, applicants, and incoming students; identifies and serves prospective students by informing them of Seminary programs, admissions processes, seminary life, financial aid, and encouraging them to apply; and helps applicants submit all necessary credentials for admission, evaluates applicants for admission, and facilitates the matriculation of accepted applicants. In addition, all Admissions Counselors are responsible for representing the Seminary in the field to the public.
Position Responsibilities
Work with the Director of Admissions and the Senior Director of Enrollment Management to execute and implement the strategic enrollment plan.
Collaborate and maintain recruitment guidelines and goals to use for future recruitment efforts.
Manage admissions accounts to guide applicants through the application process, counsel them regarding degree program choice, and facilitate the matriculation of accepted students.
Use the Customer Relationship Management system to help keep track of communication to prospective students and necessary data for reporting for each applicant.
Review prospective student applications for admission.
Research and verify the accuracy of application information. Follow-up with students to verify any application issues, including discrepancies or missing information
Coordinate applicant approval process with various educational departments as needed.
Meet with prospective students through scheduled appointments to introduce them to the seminary, give counsel regarding degree program choice, answer questions, and provide a tour of the campus.
Plan and coordinate Preview Days and new student orientations with various departments and delegating tasks among teams.
Coordinate campus visits.
Represent the Seminary on field visits, including transportation, setup, and takedown of Seminary recruiting displays and publications; reinforce Seminary ties on such field trips (e.g., with alumni and college faculty).
Plan, organize, and coordinate other on-campus and online recruitment events as requested.
Participate and play an active role in Covenant Seminary’s student events.
Train other Admissions Team and Student Ambassadors on campus tours etiquette and procedures.
Carry out additional special events or projects as assigned by the Director of Admissions and the Senior Director of Enrollment Management.
Minimum Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities
Serve as a gracious host and, when necessary, the gatekeeper for the President, providing warm hospitality for the President and guests, including having coffee, water, snacks, and lunches as requested.
Manage the President’s calendar:
Schedule appointments with faculty, staff, board, donors, PCA leaders, and personal, if requested.
Schedule meeting rooms on campus as required.
Remind President of upcoming events, and anticipate future appointments in coordination with Development, Admissions, Student Life, Academics, and PCA committees.
Assist with the President’s communication:
As requested, compose and edit written correspondence.
Follow-up with needed updates/confirmations regarding verbal decisions and/or contract signatures.
Maintain a timely correspondence with the PCA General Assembly and associated groups (AC, COC, NC, C&P, CMC, agencies, committees, etc.) to ensure the Seminary meets its institutional goals.
Maintain accurate records of institutional communications, both physical and electronic filing.
Keep track/records of all donor interactions involving the President, scheduling phone calls, completing mailings, and planning trips.
Manage the President’s travel schedule:
In collaboration with appropriate individuals, coordinate all travel details, including flights, rental cars,accommodations, and meeting logistics
Provide support documents as needed.
Manage the President’s office supplies and track the President’s expenditures:
Order supplies for the President's Office (office materials, hospitality, copy room).
Track expenditures for the President's Office, including monthly statements and check requests, bills, reimbursements, documenting all expenses.
Provide class support for courses the President teaches:
As needed, schedule classrooms & communicate with staff and/or students
As needed, follow-up with TA’s or those assisting the President
Provide hospitality for Doctoral Cohorts led by the President, including class set up & and clean up (coffee, snacks, drinks, etc.)
Meet weekly with the President for updates and coordination.
Associated Responsibilities
Under the direction of the President and in service to Covenant’s Board of Trustees,
Ensure that all Board documents (By-laws, Policy Governance Manual, Board Handbook) are up to datefor each meeting.
Coordinate the logistics (hotel reservations, attendance, Q/A, etc.) and distribute materials (dockets, committee reports, Board documents, etc.) needed for each regularly scheduled board meetings in September, January, April.
Serve as the Recording Secretary of the Board of Trustees and shall be present at all stated meetings of the board and called meetings when requested by the President.
Under the direction of the President, serve as the dedicated staffer to assist with the Trustee Development committee,
Serve as its secretary, distributing minutes, and assist coordinate its meetings .
Serve as hostess and coordinate logistics for trustee & advisor orientation.
Assist with and ensure all committee, board, and denominational processes related to the nomination of Seminary trustees and advisors occur in a timely manner.
Distribute, collect, and compile annual surveys related to Board evaluation.
Under the direction of the President, provide administrative and logistical support to Academics, Student Life, and guest speakers of the President for special Seminary celebrations, including Convocation, Baccalaureate, and Commencement.
Under the direction of the President, schedule and coordinate logistics for Seminary staff meetings, Advisory Council meetings & retreat, and serve as its secretary.
Provide administrative and logistical support to special annual functions hosted by the President, including the staff and faculty Christmas parties.
Other
Perform and/or manage other projects and tasks as assigned by the President.

Professor of Theology
Covenant Theological Seminary invites applications and nominations for a full-time faculty appointment at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Theology, with a particular focus in the discipline of systematic theology. The position will start in the 2025 academic year (July 1 is the normal start date, though an August start date is also possible). Primary responsibilities will entail instruction in systematic theology and will likely include secondary instruction in church history and/or apologetics. Instructional responsibilities encompass both residential and online classes, as well as potential team-teaching in cross-disciplinary classes.
Requirements
The qualified candidate will:
have a doctoral degree in a theological discipline that equips them to teach in areas of systematic theology as well as cultural apologetics and/or church history.
exhibit skill in biblical exegesis.
show evidence of teaching experience and promise of excellence in the classroom.
have demonstrated ability in research and scholarship.
have significant experience in ministry, with demonstrated character and ability to form God’s people.
