Prof. Jessie Swigart

Assistant Professor of Educational Ministries

Prof. Jessie Swigart joined the staff of Covenant Seminary as Academics Coordinator in 2009 after completing her MAEM in 2008. She was appointed Associate Dean of Academics in 2013 and Dean of Academic Administration in 2016. In this role she works with the Vice President of Academics to manage and evaluate the academic processes of the Seminary.

Prof. Swigart teaches in the Educational Ministries department. She is passionate about creating challenging and compassionate spaces in which learners can grow together in the knowledge of our savior Jesus Christ. She is working toward a PhD in Educational Studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL, exploring professional identity formation in early career helping professionals.
