Family Nurture

We know the choice to attend a residential seminary is one that impacts the whole family. Under Student Life, the Family Nurture program seeks to provide welcome and ministry to families with children who join our campus community or visit for hybrid weeks. Ministry offerings include some free childcare during select seminary classes and events, Parents’ Mornings/Night Out, groups to support and nurture moms of very young children as well as social activities in the summer.

Regular weekly services are offered during spring and fall terms for children ages 6 months-5 years with extended ages welcome for special events and Parents’ Night out. Families will have opportunity to meet with our Family Nurture Coordinator to begin connecting to the community, learning about the Log Cabin Childcare (an actual Log Cabin on campus!) and area resources they may benefit from.

WHEN

Regular weekly services are offered during Fall and Spring terms with events and fellowship scheduled based on interest/availability in the summer.

WHO

Many services are available for all families of enrolled students, whether full or part time, but others require registration and may be limited by space or staffing to full time students. Contact the Family Nurture Coordinator for registration links and space availability
