What and Who: The Theological Fellowship at Covenant Seminary is pleased to present its Spring 2017 Bantam Lecture featuring Dr. Andreas J. Köstenberger, Senior Research Professor of New Testament and Biblical Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS) in Wake Forest, North Carolina. If his name sounds familiar, that’s because several of his books are required or recommended reading in Covenant Seminary’s New Testament courses. Along with our own Dr. Robert Yarbrough, Dr. Köstenberger is currently editing the Exegetical Guide to the Greek New Testament (EGGNT) series.
Dr. Köstenberger’s primary research interests are in biblical theology and hermeneutics. He did his doctoral studies under D. A. Carson at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, writing his dissertation on the mission motif in the Gospel of John. He is editor of the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society (JETS), the founder of Biblical Foundations (an organization existing to strengthen the family, church, and society), and is the prolific author or editor for many books, including The Heresy of Orthodoxy, The Final Days of Jesus (with Justin Taylor), and God’s Design for Man and Woman (with Margaret Köstenberger).
Cost: Free and open to the public. Tell your friends!
