Brotherhood and BBQ: Death by Isolation
Featuring Nate Larkin, Founder of the Samson Society and author of
Samson and the Pirate Monks and Beyond Accountability (a free e-book)
Wednesday, October 25, 5 – 7 p.m.
in the Community Center
All men of the Covenant Seminary community are invited to join us for this evening of food, fellowship, and discussion as Nate speaks on how isolation in ministry will ultimately lead to our downfall unless we have a group of authentic friends to walk beside us.
About Our Speaker:
Nate Larkin was a pastor with a binding secret of pornography that was tearing apart his ministry and his marriage, but when all seemed lost he found freedom. Today, he is able to openly share with audiences his moral struggle and how he has conquered addiction through the redemptive power of Christ, and is the founder of a ministry called Samson Society, a place where men can be openly accountable with one another while biblically seeking the road to recovery.
Nate received his MDiv at Princeton Theological Seminary. After overcoming his addiction to pornography, he wrote the book Samson and the Pirate Monks: Calling Men to Authentic Brotherhood, which is geared toward men and describes his personal testimony in an honest, humble way. His most recent work is the free e-book Beyond Accountability: The Life-Changing Power of Authentic Friendship.
