Israel Kolade

Admissions Representative

israel.kolade@covenantseminary.edu

Israel (MDiv ’23 – Church Planting Track) was born in Nigeria and moved to London (England) when he was six. After reading Philosophy & Theology at the University of London, he worked with Teach First for two years as a science teacher in south London while completing a postgraduate diploma in education with UCL Institute of Education. Israel moved from London to St. Louis to begin his MDiv in the summer of 2019.

As an Admissions Representative in the Admissions department, Israel is excited to come alongside prospective students as they discern God’s calling on their life in relation to further theological education and vocational ministry – especially church planting! He loves sharing with them all the things that makes Covenant such a great seminary, and he finds it a joy to see how God is working in the lives of His people. When Israel isn’t reading a book or listening to a jazz ensemble, you can find him engrossed in a life or death game of table tennis, playing the drums, or simply taking a stroll through Forest Park.
