Alyson was born in California but has spent most of her life living in the Southeast United States. For her undergrad she studied Sociology and Global Studies at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She recently returned from a year on mission in Sheffield, UK as a ministry intern with the Acts 29 Network. Some of the things she misses the most are Yorkshire tea, walks in the Peak District National Park, and travelling by train. Just 2 months after coming back to the States, she moved to St. Louis with the hopes of beginning the MDiv/MARC program in the Fall of 2017. Her desire is to equip and mobilize the Church to walk in diverse unity & to be on mission in everyday life, whether that be locally or abroad. She loves writing, digital photography, rock climbing, listening to podcasts, spoken word/poetry nights, and going to concerts – music is definitely her love language.
