The Edwards Hall Community Center will be reopening with the intended use for students to study and/or participate in their online classes. With this reopening, there are some guidelines that the Seminary asks you read and follow while using the space.
Guidelines:
Entry into the building will be done through the South entrance coming from the patio area (door that enters the kitchenette area, not the café).
The exit for the building will be through the double doors located on the north side. The doors will be clearly labeled. Please do not prop any doors open.
There will be limited seats available – 16 in total – due to the social distancing guidelines put forth by St. Louis County. These spots can be reserved online for 90-minute increments. Please honor that time frame so that others may use the space.
When in the community center, students are to wear a face mask/covering.
Please wash your hands frequently while using the space.
When leaving, please wipe down table and chair with supplied cleaners located in the kitchenette.
Please do not rearrange the chairs and tables in the space.
The café and kitchenette areas will be closed to student use.
The Seminary asks that you do a self-screening before entering the building. Please take your temperature. If you have a temperature of 100.4 or higher, do not enter the community center. If you have any of the COVID-19 symptoms (a new or worsened cough, shortness of breath or trouble breathing, fever, chills, muscle aches, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell), do not enter the building.
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, please contact your heath care provider and Mark McElmurry.
Restrooms are to be used by one person at a time.
The “ping-pong” room will not have the tables set up for use nor are there to be chairs and/or tables moved down to the room.
The observance of the guidelines put forth by the Seminary will be on an honor system. However, if abuse of the space is seen, we reserve the right to close the community center for use.
