When: January 4 – 17, 2019
What: Announcing the official Covenant Seminary Student and Alumni Israel Study Tour 2019! Traveling from Dan to Beersheba and the Mediterranean Sea to the Golan Heights, we will cover the whole of Israel, stopping at the key sites for biblical Studies. We go beyond the typical tourist trips in our extensive tour of the biblical archaeology locales in Israel, with devotionals and lectures on location by our own Covenant faculty. Student and alumni spouses are welcome too!
Trip Highlights: See physical evidences of the life and culture in the OT and NT periods. Gain familiarity with the topography and geography in order to be better able to conceive how these physical features influenced biblical history. Practice your Hebrew reading. Experience David’s Indiana Jones impersonations. Watch faculty get giddy over ancient stones. And eat native cuisine you’ve never heard of.
Hosted By: The Seminary’s W. Harold Mare Institute for Biblical and Archaeological Studies
