FSI and Fontbonne University present 

Dr. W. Brian Shelton,

provost of Toccoa Falls College and author of

the new book Quest for the Historical Apostles: Tracing Their Lives and Legacies.

Dr. Shelton will visit both Fontbonne and Covenant to discuss his book and related themes. Free and open to the public. This event is part of our celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Francis Schaeffer Institute in 2019.

Thursday, Feb. 21 – At Fontbonne University

12:30 – 1:45 p.m. – Speaking in Dr. Brian Matz’s New Testament Survey class on the topic “Apostolic Teaching and Canon Formation”

4:30 – 5:30 p.m. – Popes and Patristics Lecture — “Truth, Myths and Legends: What Happened to Jesus’ Apostles?” – In the Lewis Room; all welcome to attend.

Friday, Feb. 22 – At Covenant Seminary

10 – 10:50 a.m. – Chapel Presentation – “Beyond Acts: The Journeys of the Apostles in Ministry and Myth” – In Rayburn Chapel; all welcome to attend.

11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. – Speaking for Prof. Jerram Barrs’s Apologetic and Outreach class on the topic “Beyond Acts: Cross-Cultural Strategies Hidden in the Apocryphal Apostolic Journeys” – In Rayburn Chapel; all welcome to attend.
