What: “Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration and Teach-In” to celebrate the life, ministry, and vision of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This will be a night of worship led by the St. Louis City Mass Choir, and teaching about Dr. King’s “A Letter From the Birmingham Jail” and his continuing challenge to today’s church. A fellowship reception will follow the event.
Who: The keynote speaker will be Pastor Tony Myles of New City Fellowship. Other diverse voices will include Dr. Tisha Brooks, assistant professor at SIU-Edwardsville; Howie Meloch of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship; Pastor Bum Yong Kim of Outpour Church; the St. Louis City Mass Choir led by Michelle Higgins, and others–including your own voice in a Q&A discussion.
