Helps for Downloading and Podcasting
We recommend downloading the files from Covenant Worldwide and the Ministry Resources database to your computer and then listening to MP3 files or viewing the PDF study guides from there. At certain peak bandwidth times, listening to the MP3 files over the internet may result in interrupted audio and a less than optimal learning experience. Answers to frequently asked questions regarding downloading files and subscribing to podcasts are listed below.
How do I download an MP3 or PDF file?
To download the files to your computer and listen to/view them later, right-click on the hyperlink (for Mac users, hold down the CTRL key and then click the link with the mouse) and choose the appropriate save option from the pop-up menu. Once you save the file to your computer, you can play/view it any time.
How do I subscribe to a podcast with iTunes?
To podcast through iTunes, go to http://www.apple.com/iTunes and download your free version of the iTunes software. Start iTunes and click on the "Advanced" menu. Choose the "Subscribe to podcast" option. Enter the URL of the podcast as indicated by the
symbol on the Covenant Worldwide course's Web page .
Why do I only get the first message downloaded when I subscribe to the podcast?
If you are using version 6, start iTunes and click on the "Edit" menu. Choose the "Preferences" option. On the "Podcasts" tab change the setting for "When new episodes are available" to "Download All." You may want to change the setting back to "Download most recent one" once you have downloaded all the lessons for the course as this setting will affect all the podcasts to which you subscribe.
If you are using version 7 of iTunes, you may simply click the "get all" button next to the title of the podcast.
