Covenant Seminary's SEE (Service, Explore, and Experience) Japan team is leaving May 21, 2013, for a two-week service and learning trip to Japan.  The team will visit with and assist Covenant alumnus and church planter Seima Aoyagi (MDiv ’08) in Tokyo; Christ Bible Seminary in Nagoya; Dr. Joseph Kim, who is starting Genesis College with Mission to the World (MTW) in Osaka; and Dan Iverson, Japan director for MTW, in Chiba. The group will be teaching, counseling, and leading children’s ministry events, while also exploring and experiencing Japan and its culture.

The Team

The team consists of Diane Powell, visiting instructor of practical theology (counseling); current students Yoji Takahashi (MDiv), Heather Murray (MAEM/MAC), Katie Seay (MARC); and team co-leaders Ryan (MDiv) and Tomoko Steinbach (MAC ’06).
