Giving: The Heart of the Gospel

Giving is at the very heart of the gospel message. God the Father, in love, gave his Son, Jesus, to redeem the fallen world through the sacrifice of his blood. Jesus did not shy away from this mission; rather, he embraced it, as Paul tells us in Philippians 2:6-8:

Though he was in the form of God, [he] did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

Because we have been given so great a grace through the redemption found in Jesus Christ our Savior, we too, by faith in him, are able to give wholeheartedly of ourselves — of our time, our talents, and our treasures — for the glory of his name and the advancement of his Kingdom.

Investing in the Future of Christ’s Church

Your participation in the mission of Covenant Seminary — both prayerfully and financially — is an investment in the future of Christ’s church and is vital to ensuring that we are able to continue training pastors and ministry leaders who are faithful to the Scriptures, true to our Confession, and rooted in grace for a lifetime of fruitful ministry. Whatever your passion or heart for the Lord, you’ll find exciting opportunities to support his Kingdom work through the Seminary and the Covenant Theological Seminary Foundation.

If you feel that the Lord is calling you to be part of our support team, we would like to talk with you. Contact our Development staff today at 1.800.264.8064.
