2010 Preaching Lectures Feature Dr. Sinclair Ferguson

Dr. Sinclair Ferguson, senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church (ARP), Columbia, South Carolina, and professor of systematic theology at Redeemer Seminary in Dallas, Texas, is the featured speaker for the 2010 Covenant Seminary Preaching Lectures, to be held October 12-13 in Rayburn Chapel. The theme for the series is Thoughts on Preaching Christ.

Dr. Ferguson is a well-known preacher, teacher, and author whose many books include The Holy Spirit, Children of the Living God, Understanding the Gospel, Man Overboard, Kingdom Life in a Fallen World, and others.

This course is free and open to the public. Those wishing to take the course for credit may contact the Seminary Registrar's Office.

Tuesday, October 12

Wednesday, October 13

  • 10-11:15 a.m.--Lecture 1: "Thoughts on the Preacher and Christ" (Rayburn Chapel)

  • 12:45-2 p.m.--Lecture 2: "Thoughts on Preaching Christ" (Rayburn Chapel)
