Lifetime of Ministry Courses
In keeping with our commitment to providing church leaders and other ministry practitioners with opportunities for lifelong learning, Covenant Seminary regularly offers a variety of convenient weekend and week-long ministry enrichment courses through the Lifetime of Ministry series. These courses address issues pertinent to today's ministry leaders in an interactive fashion, often using guest instructors who are recognized experts in their fields.
Lifetime of Ministry (LOM) courses:
- Offer unique opportunities for practical learning and spiritual growth.
- Are free to Covenant Seminary alumni and their spouses.
- Can be audited by others for $25 per class.

From the order of worship to recent trends in liturgical and emerging styles, the modern church can challenge its music staff. But the mission of the local church should guide its music and worship. Mr. Ward, a musician in a cross-cultural congregation who has written numerous worship songs and anthems, will address some of the church's common priorities for its weekly services.

Lifelong learning is a journey shaped by culturally defined norms. This course will survey elements of cross-cultural education such as learning theories and perspectives, contextualization, ethno-pedagogy, Bible teaching around the world, and intercultural program planning.

Sex can be a powerful force for creativity, love, and goodness—or for destructiveness, deceit, and evil. What does the Bible have to say about sexuality in a world where "anything goes?" Students will examine historical teaching and models of spiritual theology and formation, particularly in our Reformed tradition.
