Living and Learning Together in Grace
At Covenant Seminary, we take a holistic approach to learning. We are committed to helping God’s people grow continually in knowledge, be nurtured in their faith, and live lives that glorify Christ and further his Kingdom. Ultimately, we desire to equip God’s people in ways that increase their effectiveness in the ministries to which the Lord has called or is calling them. Essential to our mission is our cornerstone belief that future pastors and other leaders of the church need to live and learn together in a
covenantal community of grace to fully experience the life-changing, transformational power of the gospel.
Educational Excellence—On Campus or Around the World
Students can achieve their educational goals through Covenant Seminary in any of several ways.
On-Campus Degree Programs
Some students move to St. Louis to study and learn under our faculty of pastor-scholars, who are committed to mentoring future church leaders through our unique educational model of pastors training pastors. We offer a variety of on-campus
degree programs to prepare students for service to the church and other ministries.
Lifelong Learning Options
Other students begin or continue their education through our
Distance Learning option, or through the weekend or week-long classes offered through our Lifelong Learning program. These options enable you to take advantage of the educational resources of the Seminary without necessarily making the move to St. Louis.
Worldwide Classroom
For ministers or lay people who are committed to ministry in the field and for whom relocation is not feasible, the Seminary offers free resources to help you learn where you are—anywhere in the world—through our
Worldwide Classroom (formerly known as Covenant Worldwide). This unique ministry stewards the high-quality, grace-centered theological education materials with which the Lord has blessed the Seminary by making available online for free download the complete courseware for more than 20 of our master’s-level seminary classes.
