Ministry Experience
- Men’s Leadership Breakfast (teacher for St. Louis-area men’s Bible study at Covenant Seminary, 2003–2007)
- Frequent speaker at churches, church conferences, RUF conferences/retreats
- Home group leader and adult Sunday school teacher for local church
- Wrote and led a series of devotionals on marriage for Two Becoming One (a marriage ministry)

- Ordained as a teaching elder, Presbyterian Church in America (Missouri Presbytery)

- Dr. Sklar became associate dean of academics at Covenant Theological Seminary in 2008. He has served on several faculty committees since he joined the Seminary faculty in 2001.
