Tuition & Financial Aid
We are strongly committed to helping students finance their education through wise stewardship. Our goal is to help students get through seminary with as little debt as possible that could hinder their later ministries.
Tuition and Costs for the 2011-2012 Academic Year
- $480 per credit hour (on-campus or distance) for graduate programs or certificates
- $240 per credit hour for students 60 years or older for graduate programs or certificates
- $575 per credit hour for Doctor of Ministry (DMIN) and Master of Theology (THM)
- $240 per credit hour for auditors
- Books-The average cost is $30 per credit hour.
Financial Aid for New Students
Once admitted to the seminary:
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by going to www.fafsa.ed.gov. Covenant Seminary's school code is G04707. Please see the FAFSA tipsheet for help or call the Financial Aid Office.
- Complete the financial aid application online through the Applicant Portal.
- The application deadlines for financial aid are:
- February 15 and April 15 for Summer and Fall applicants
- June 15 for Fall Applicants and Spouses
- October 15 for Spring applicants
- Students must reapply for financial aid each year.

Financial Aid for Returning Students (Click to View)
- Students must reapply for financial aid each year.
- Returning students should submit applications to the Financial Aid Office by March 15 of each year. Applications for the next school year are available in January on the Student Portal (online or PDF version) or in the One-Stop area. For late renewal applications, scholarship amounts will be reduced by 10 percent for each week after the March 15 deadline.
