Josh Earman - MDiv

Founders Scholar
Harrisonburg, Virginia

My vision is to pastor a church that humbly shapes our lives according to God’s Word and actively creates opportunities to share the gospel with the community.
DAN ROBBINS - MDIV

Founders Scholar - Seattle, Washington

I long to teach theology and be part of a pastoral team overseas, or be involved in ministry to college students stateside.
Mary Beth Mebane - MDiv

Ministry Leadership Award
Winston Salem, North Carolina

I expected Covenant to challenge my brain. What I was unprepared for was the shocking stretch of my heart and the deep molding of my life that would confront me here. The real-live, flesh-n-blood embodiment of the gospel by the students, staff and professors here continues to teach me more about the Lord than I could have imagined. I hope that the indelible imprint of the gospel further stamped upon me here will enable me to share the same grace with others, in whatever context the Lord calls me to next.
Jingcai Zhu - MDiv

Founders Scholar - Hebei, China

When I started studying at Covenant Seminary, I was already over 50 years old. When I was young, I boasted in my good memory, but in Seminary, I found my good memory was no longer there. God taught me that I cannot rely on myself but must rely on His strength. I have to come to God very often crying for help. God is faithful and He led me through every step of my studies, granting me good health so that I never missed a single class, and providing me and my family all we need for living.

Scholarships

100%
The Kern Family

The Kern Family Foundation Scholarships were established to encourage young men of excellence to enter pastoral ministry. Kern Family Foundation Scholarships provide 100% scholarships for three years for students who are called to ministry within the context of a local church immediately upon graduation.

  • A full-time new student.
  • A graduate of an accredited college with a GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.
  • 27 years of age or younger at the start of his studies.
