Intersect Forum

Grace-oriented leadership is the art of creating shared urgency from a framework of gospel humility and conviction—humility based on the mercy of God and conviction based on Kingdom values.

The Intersect Forum was created to assist pastors, church leaders, and family businesspersons in developing their leadership skills. The program consists of two three-day seminars and is conducted within a two-month timeframe. The event features experiential learning, scriptural reflection, self-reflection, and interactive dialogue. The Forum creates a unique context for businesspersons to consider the dimensions of their vocation from a Christian worldview. At the same time, pastors have the opportunity to explore their leadership styles and gain insight into the professional demands placed on their congregants between Sundays.

Why Attend an Intersect Forum?

Intersect Forum participants investigate what it means to be leaders in systems through honestly examining work contexts from a Kingdom perspective. A primary goal of the Forum is to equip leaders to develop peer-coaching systems that build gospel health within their churches and businesses. Two highly effective leadership tools—the RightPath® 4 and 6 Profiles and the Leadership360 assessment—help participants understand their leadership styles and how others perceive and experience their leadership.

• Communicating in a way that values results and relationships
• Influencing organizational growth and change
• Building collaborative vision and structure through understanding generational perspectives
• Creating gospel health within an organization

Time investment

This two-part conference meets twice over a four- to six-week period, with the first segment laying down foundational concepts and the second applying those concepts to live, ongoing case studies. Because forum size is limited, participants must attend both the first and second sessions, to ensure full benefit of the experience for everyone.
