Dr. Dalbey brings more than 30 years of experience as a teacher and pastor to his responsibilities as a leader of Covenant Seminary's faculty. He came to the Seminary in 1999 following seven years as senior pastor of Christ Presbyterian Church in Richmond, Indiana. Earlier he served as pastor of The Church of the Covenant in Cincinnati, Ohio and as a chaplain and Bible instructor at Geneva College. Before becoming V.P. for Faculty Development, Dr. Dalbey served for ten years as Dean of Students at the Seminary. He is currently taking on the additional role of Interim President while the Seminary conducts a formal search for the next President.
Dr. Dalbey's doctoral work focused on corporate worship. His heart for worship is evident as he teaches the MDIV worship class, leads the seminary MA in Worship classes, and advises worship pastors/leaders throughout the denomination. He currently serves as chairman of the Worship Reformation Network.
He and his wife, Beth, enjoy time with their three children and four grandchildren.
